2011 Holiday Show “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”
Do you recall the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph, of course, with all of his buddies - Hermey and Yukon Cornelius - will be brought to life on the stage through dance by the Parker Youth Ballet dancers. Join the Parker Youth Ballet for its seventh season. This season’s holiday production will be “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” based on the original song by Johnny Marks written in 1949. Parker Youth Ballet and The Parker Cultural Commission will be presenting four performances featuring Mayor David Casiano.
Tickets go on sale in November at the Parker Rec. Center and Miller Dance Parker Location. Tickets are $8.00 for all seats. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Performance location-Mainstreet Center in Parker.
Audition/placements are open to all area dance students ages 5-18. Auditions will consist of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. All dancers will be placed in a part. Rehearsals will be held each Saturday beginning on October 1st. All rehearsals will be held at Miller’s Dance Studio, Parker location. Rehearsals will be held between the hours of noon and 3:30 pm depending on part. Dancers will receive exact rehearsal times the day of auditions/placements.
Proposed cost for students $50 Residents/Non Residents (this includes costume rentals and personal t-shirt)

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Placement/Auditions
Placement/Auditions for the company will be open to all area ballet students between the ages of 5 and 18, who are looking for a performance outlet to showcase their talents. You do not need to be a student of Miller’s Dance Studio to audition.
Auditions will consist of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. All dancers will be placed in a part.
Placement/Audition Date: Saturday, September 17th
5-6 yr.olds, 1-2pm
7-8 yr. olds, 2-3pm
9-10 yr olds, 3-4pm
11-up, 4-4:30pm
About Parker Youth Ballet
Miller’s Dance Studio established the “Parker Youth Ballet”, a Ballet company, in 2005. The Parker Youth Ballet in conjunction with the Towne of Parker and the Parker Cultural Commission present performances every December at the Mainstreet Center Stage, in Parker, Colorado. The company is open to all area Ballet students between the ages of 5 and 18, who are looking for a performance outlet to showcase their talents.
